Hospital HazMat Abatement and Demolition with 14 Storey Obstruction
 Location: Toronto, ON This multi phased project included the Type II abatement of drywall and Type III removal of pipe insulation. The demolition phase involved the removal of pre-cast cladding from the 14th to the 20th floors of one of the buildings onsite. A 14 storey building blocked access to the cladding removal area, so to complete the removals we used cranes to reach 150’ over the obstruction. Another phase included the removal of concrete block walls near stairwells and elevators, various other walls, floors and structures and the removal of a mechanical penthouse which included all equipment as well as the final structure. |
