QMLP was awarded a project at a bulk fuelling facility in northern Alberta to install a barrier wall to mitigate the off-site migration of LNAPL and associated skimmer packages to collect LNAPL from the groundwater surface.

The scope of work included the following:

• Preparation of a site specific Health and Safety Plan;
• Procurement and preparation of 125 lm, 4m deep PVC sheet piles;
• Design of an installation methodology and QA/QC controls to ensure proper installation;
• Installation of 125 lm, 4m deep PVC sheet pile wall;

Design, procurement, installation and commissioning of 7 fully-enclosed, insulated LNAPL skimmer packages to collect LNAPL from the groundwater surface. The heated enclosures permit year round operation of the skimmer unit.
